The City of Sanford Land Bank Authority is requesting qualifications and expressions of interest from firms to provide residential real estate redevelopment services to redevelop tax acquired houses and vacant lots as developer.  Qualified firms will be short-listed for the first opportunity to negotiate and propose redevelopment of these properties in Sanford under a variety of publicly financed or privately financed and ownership arrangements and opportunities including purchase and resale.  The City has an inventory of tax acquired houses and vacant lots ready for redevelopment.  The City is interested to hear from firms with a successful track record of providing quality in-fill housing or rehabilitation of existing housing and a willingness to work with the Land Bank to access public financing and support resale under the City’s workforce development plan.
