Carpentier Park Project- Landscape Architect

Notice: The City of Sanford, Parks and Recreation Department, are seeking bids for a Landscape Architect to design and upgrade Carpentier Park as part of a LWCF Grant project.

Work Includes: Planning and designing Carpentier Park with the addition of a splashpad, playground, landscaping and paving.

Sealed bids are due at the Parks & Recreation Office, Wednesday, March 27th, 2024 no later than 12:00pm. Bids can be delivered to our office at Memorial Gym - Door 6, 678 Main Street, Sanford, ME 04073 or mailed to 678 Main Street, Sanford, ME 04073.

Project: Carpentier Park – LWCF Grant – 23-00899

Location: Carpentier Park, 82 High Street, Sanford, ME 04073

Scope of Work for LWCF Project: Removal of old playground. Replacement with new playground. Installation of new splashpad. Grading of site and other prep work. Installation of new paved, ADA walkway and 3 parking spots. Seeding of lawn. Planting 6 trees. Improved landscaping. Creation of bid specifications for the construction to follow. Possible presentation at a City Council meeting.
