Communications Team Members
The staffing levels consist of 22 full time dispatchers including 4 supervisors and several reserve dispatchers. Sanford Regional Communications Center is staffed with highly trained individuals. SRCC is staffed 24 hours a day, seven days a week.
They have many hours of training ranging from Emergency Medical and Fire Dispatch, data entry into the National Crime Information Center, operations of the Enhanced 9-1-1 system, use of the Maine Telecommunications and Routing Operations system (METRO) for queries into the Maine Department of Motor Vehicles, and many other duties.
