Dear Friends and Neighbors,

I am honored to be serving as your Mayor. Sanford has a dedicated and responsive City Council, a seasoned management team that is second to none, and dedicated employees to our City. My hope is to continue to provide the citizens of Sanford a government that is fair, efficient, and accessible for every one of Sanford's 24,000 residents, no matter if they live in a trailer park, apartment or a residential home. Each and every citizen is important.

My husband, Bill and I have enjoyed being citizens in this great city. It has afforded us many great opportunities and many great friends. Sanford's been a fantastic place to live, work, worship, play and raise a family.

Sanford truly has a lot to offer; a unique community with an excellent school system, friendly neighborhoods, proven community safety, rich cultural experiences, and our many beautiful parks, including walking trails around several lakes and ponds, a gem for generations of residents to enjoy.

We are proud that Sanford is a community of neighbors, and even though the City has grown, it has retained its “small town” friendliness, charm and spirit. We are honored to call Sanford our home.
